Jai is shooting round the clock nowadays because he has two big films gearing up for release. One is Vettai Mannan with STR and the other is Engeyum Eppodum which is being produced by Murugadoss in association with Fox Star Studios. Anjali is his co-star in the latter film. Shooting for Engeyum Eppodum is almost complete but a few portions with Jai still have to be filmed.

The reason for the delay is that he was busy with Vettai Mannan and since he has to coordinate his dates with STR who is also busy with Osthi, he had no choice but to give first priority to STR's film. But now that he has finished work on Vettai Mannan he has rushed back to the Engeyum Eppodum sets and is working extremely hard to make up for lost time, especially since the makers are very particular that the film be released by August 31st.

Both the films are big budget films and Jai is hoping that they will be milestone films in his career. We wish him luck!
