ஒரே நேரத்தில் அஜித் படம், சிம்பு படம் என இரண்டிலும் கவனம் செலுத்திவருகிறீர்களே?
நீ தானே என் பொன் வசந்தம்’ படத்திற்கு முன் ‘விண்ணைத் தாண்டி வருவாயா’, ‘நடுநிசி நாய்கள்’ ஆகிய இரண்டு படங்களுக்கும் இதேபோலத்தான் படப்பிடிப்பு இருந்தது. இம்முறை அப்படித் திட்டமிட்டு இறங்கவில்லை. சிம்பு என்னோட நெருங்கிய நண்பர். சூர்யா படம் டிரா ஆன நேரத்தில் சிம்புகிட்ட கேட்டேன். அன்று இரவே ஷூட்டிங் போகலாம் என்றார். உடனே தொடங்கினோம். ஆரம்பித்து 15 நாட்களில் ரத்னம் சாருக்கு ஒரு படம் பண்ணலாமா என்று அஜித் சார்கிட்ட இருந்து அழைப்பு வந்தது. அந்த நேரம் சிம்புவும் பாண்டிராஜ் படத்தில் நடித்துக்கொண்டிருந்ததால் இரண்டு படங்களையும் நகர்த்திக் கொண்டுபோக வாய்ப்புக் கிடைத்தது.
30 நாட்கள் படப்பிடிப்பு முடிந்துவிட்ட நிலையில் தலைப்பு வைப்பதில் இன்னும் எதற்கு சஸ்பென்ஸ்?
சிம்பு படத்திற்கு ‘சட்டென்று மாறுது வானிலை’ என்ற தலைப்பைத் திட்டமிட்டிருந்தோம். பிறகுதான் அது வேறொரு படத்திற்கு வைக்கப்பட்டுச் சென்சார் வரைக்கும் வந்துவிட்டது என்பதே தெரிந்தது. அது ஈர்த்த மாதிரி ஒரு தலைப்பு அமையட்டும் என்று காத்திருக்கிறோம். அஜித் சாரோட படத்துக்கு நாங்கள் சில தலைப்புகள் சொல்லியிருக்கோம். தயாரிப்பு தரப்பில் இருந்தும் சில தலைப்புகளை ஆலோசித்து வருகிறார்கள். விரைவில் அறிவிப்பு வரும்.
உங்க வாழ்க்கையில் நடந்த சம்பவங்களின் பாதிப்பு உங்கள் படங்களில் வெளிப்படுமே?
சிம்பு படத்தில் நிறைய இடங்களில் என்னோட இளமை பருவத்தோட பாதிப்பு உண்டு. அஜித் சார் படத்தில் அதுக்கான வாய்ப்பு இல்லை. அஜித் சார் படம் ஒரு கேரக்டர் பத்தின ஸ்டடி. இந்த கேரக்டரோட அடுத்தடுத்த கட்டத்தைப் படமாக்க வேண்டும் என்றே இருக்கிறேன். அந்தக் கதாபாத்திரத்தோட வேலை அடுத்தடுத்த கட்டங்களையும் தொடும். ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட வயது தொடங்கி, குறிப்பிட்ட ஸ்டேஜ்வரை போகும். அடுத்தடுத்த பார்ட் உருவாக்கும் நோக்கத்தில் எழுதியிருக்கிறேன். அடுத்தடுத்த பாகங்களிலும் அஜித் சாரை வைத்து இயக்குவேன்.
சிம்பு இயக்குநர்களின் அலைவரிசைக்குள் எளிதில் சிக்குவதில்லை என்கிறார்களே?
எனக்கு அப்படித் தோணியதே இல்லை. காலை 7 மணிக்குச் சுறுசுறுப்பாகப் படப்பிடிப்பில் கலந்துகொள்ள வந்துவிடுவார். கொஞ்சம் தாமதமாக வந்தாலும்கூட ஒண்ணு அல்லது ரெண்டு டேக்குகளில் ஓகே செய்துவிடுவார். அவர் தமிழ் சினிமாவின் ரன்பீர் கபூர். நல்ல நடிகர்.

ஆர்வம்தான். வீட்டில் அப்பா அம்மாவோட ஆசை எல்லாம் நான் நடிப்பில் கவனம் செலுத்த வேண்டும் என்பதுதான். இப்போ என்னோட விருப்பத்துக்கு இடையூறா இருந்துடக் கூடாதுன்னு விட்டுட்டாங்க. சின்ன வயசுல இருந்தே அப்பாவோட மியூசிக் வேலைகளை எல்லாம் கூடவே இருந்து பார்த்ததால வந்த ஆர்வம்தான் இது. அவர்தான் கம்போஸிங் எல்லாம் கத்துக்கொடுத்தது. கீ போர்டு மட்டும் அப்பப்போ வெளியில் போய் கத்துக்கிட்டேன். நடிக்கிற திட்டமும் இருக்கு. அதுக்கு இன்னும் கொஞ்சம் மெச்சூரிட்டி வரட்டுமேனு காத்திருக்கேன். இப்போதான் விஸ்காம் முடிச்சேன். 22 வயசுதான். கொஞ்சம் டைம் எடுத்துக்கலாமே.
சொந்தத் தயாரிப்பு என்பதால் தான் ‘இது நம்ம ஆளு’ படத்தோட இசை வாய்ப்பு கிடைத்ததா?

உங்க அப்பா தமிழில் முதுகலைப் பட்டதாரி. உங்களுக்கு தமிழில் எழுதப்படிக்கத் தெரியுமா?
அண்ணா, அக்கா எல்லாம் தமிழ் படிச்சாங்க. என்னை மட்டும் ஹிந்தி, பிரெஞ்சுன்னு போட்டுட்டாங்க. ஆனால், தமிழை நானே எழுதப் படிக்க கத்துக்கிட்டேன். தாய் மொழியை மிஸ் பண்ண முடியுமா? யாரோட உதவியும் இல்லாமல் நானே தமிழை ஈடுபாட்டோட கற்றுக்கொண்டதில் ஹேப்பிதான்.
பாடல்களில் அப்பா, அண்ணனோட குரல் இருக்கும்தானே?

மற்ற இசையமைப்பாளர்களைப்போல நீங்களும் இரவுப் பறவைதானா? பகலில் மியூசிக் பண்ணக் கூடாதுன்னு இல்லை. இரவில் நம்மைச் சுற்றிலும் எந்த தொந்தரவும் இருக்காது. இரவுக்கும் இசைக்கும் ஒரு லிங்க் இருக்கத்தான் செய்கிறது. இசை என் கனவு. அதற்காக எத்தனை இரவுகள் வேண்டுமானாலும் விழித்திருக்கலாம்.
திரையிசையில் ஹிட் கொடுக்க பல்ஸ் தெரியுமா?
எந்தத் துறையா இருந்தாலும் புதிய முயற்சியும் அட்டெம்டும் இருந்தால் மட்டுமே நாம நிக்க முடியும். இன்னைக்கு ரசிகர்கள் என்ன விரும்புறாங்க என்பதை கவனித்து கொடுக்க கொஞ்சம் தவறினாலும் நம்மைக் கடந்து போய்க்கொண்டே இருப்பார்கள். ரசனை நவீனமாக இருக்கும்போது பழைய பாடல்களின் பாதிப்பில் தரும் இசை மீது எனக்கு நம்பிக்கை இல்லை. அது நம்மைக் கீழே அழுத்தும் வேலை என்றுதான் சொல்வேன். எல்லா காலகட்டத்திலுமே இங்கு இசையில் புதிதாகக் கொடுத்தவர்கள் மட்டுமே ஜெயித்திருக்கிறார்கள். அப்படிக் கொடுத்தா மட்டும்தான் நிற்க முடியும். அதனால் பல்ஸ் என்பதே புதுமை என்று நான் புரிந்துகொண்டிருக்கிறேன்.
டெக்னிக்கலான புது முயற்சி ஏதாவது? ‘டப்ஸ்டஃப்’ என்ற ஒரு லேட்டஸ்ட் ஜானரைக் கொடுக்கப்போறோம். தமிழ்ல யுவன் போன்ற சிலர் இதை டிரை பண்ணியிருக்காங்க. இப்போதான் அமெரிக்காவில் ஹிட் ஆகிட்டிருக்கு. அந்த ஜானரை தமிழுக்கு ஏத்த மாதிரி மோல்டு செய்து நம்ம ரசனைக்கு ஏற்றாற்போல கொடுக்க முயற்சி செய்துவர்றேன். பாப் ஸ்டைல் மாதிரி இதுவும் புது ஸ்டைலாக அமையும். ரசிகர்கள் நிச்சயம் விரும்புவாங்க.
கம்போஸர் ஆனதும் வாழ்த்து குவியத் தொடங்கியிருக்குமே?
நிறைய. குறிப்பா அப்பா, அம்மாவோட வாழ்த்து எனக்கு முக்கியமா படுது. நடிப்பில்தான் கவனம் செலுத் தணும்னு இருந்தவங்க, எனக்கு ஒரு கனவு இருக்குன்னு என் போக்குக்கு விட்டுட்டாங்க. அதேபோல அண்ணா, இயக்குநர் பாண்டிராஜ் எல்லோரும் ரொம்பவே சப்போர்டிவ்வா இருக்காங்க.
அடுத்த புராஜக்ட்?
தமிழ்ல 3 படமும், ரெண்டு தெலுங்கு படமும் வந்தன. என்னோட முதல் படத்துக்கான வேலைகளே நிறைய இருக்கு. ரெக்கார்டிங், மிக்ஸிங் பெஸ்ட்டா கொடுக்கணும்னு அமெரிக்கா, சென்னைன்னு டிராவலிங்லயே பெரும்பாலும் இருக்கேன். இந்த நேரத்தில் வேற ஆஃபர் எதையும் ஏத்துக்க முடியாது. முதல் படம் எல்லோருமே எதிர்பார்க்கிறார்கள். ரொம்பவே ஃப்ரஷ்ஷா இருக்கணும்னு ஓடிக்கிட்டிருக்கேன். அதனால் மைன்ட்ல இப்போ முழுக்க முழுக்க இந்தப் படம் மட்டும்தான்.
சிம்பு பற்றிய காதல் செய்திகள் வரும்போது நீங்க எப்படி எடுத்துகிறீங்க? காமெடியா ஃபீல் பண்ணுவேன். எந்த சர்ப்ரைஸும் இருக்காது. ஒரு காதில் வாங்கி மறு காதில் விடுவது மாதிரிதான். ஆனால், சமீபத்தில் அண்ணன், ஹன்சிகா காதல் விஷயத்துல மட்டும் ரொம்பவே ஃபீல் பண்ணேன். அவங்களோட காதல் எவ்ளோ உண்மையானதுனு எனக்குத் தெரியும். அண்ணன் எவ்ளோ கஷ்டப்படுவான்னு நினைக்கும்போது வருத்தமா இருக்கு. இன்னைக்கு ரெண்டு பேரும் ஒண்ணா இல்லையே என்று நினைத்தே பார்க்க முடியலை. அவங்களோட காதல் அவ்வளவு அழகானது. அது இப்போ இல்லைன்னு ஆனதுதான் கஷ்டமா இருக்கு.

The film will be produced by Varun Manian and will have music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, who has scored music for most of Selva's films. "I'll start working with Simbu and Trisha soon. Yuvan will compose the music while Varun will produce it. More about the project will be announced soon. We are planning to go on floors soon," Selva told IANS. Selva, who is known for films such as "Pudhupettai" and "7G Rainbow Colony", is teaming up with Simbu for the first time.
While Simbu is currently shooting for "Sattendru Maarudhu Vaanilai" and "Vaalu", Trisha is awaiting the release of Tamil actioner "Boologam".

The team will move to Hyderabad tomorrow to can a fight sequence under the supervision of Kanal Kannan master. In addition to this, two songs will be canned in foreign locales while another number will be shot in a set.
The director in a recent interview said that Vaalu will be a Rajini-like film for Simbu as he has effortlessly performed all the elements such as sentiments, action, comedy and punch dialogues, just like the Superstar would.

A song teaser of the film released on February 14 and was well received by fans. Now it is said that Simbu and Hansika have just three days left to complete their portions. With this information fans can be assured that the film's shoot will be completed soon they can expect the announcement of the release date anytime.
It is to be noted that Young actor Silambarasan's last film to hit screens was Poda Podi,that released in the year 2012.

We also hear that Simbu's intro song in the movie, will be shot in Binny Mills, Chennai in a couple of days' time. The song has already been partly shot and it will be completed in this small schedule. Sathish will be coming up with the moves for this song.
In the same way, pending portions of Vaalu will be shot over the course of the month, as the film gets ready for a May 1 release.

சிம்புவுக்கு லவ் ஃபெயிலியர். அவருக்கு வீட்டுல பார்த்த பொண்ணு நயன். நிச்சயதார்த்தம் முடிஞ்சு கல்யாணத்துக்காக அஞ்சு, ஆறு மாசம் காத்திருக்காங்க. அப்போ ரெண்டு பேருக்கும் இடையில் பூக்கும் காதல்தான் கதை. காதல் தரும் எதிர்பார்ப்புகள், அதன் பிறகான ஏமாற்றங்கள், அது உண்டாக்கும் பிரச்னைகள்... இதுதான் படம்!''

''அட... எல்லாக் காதலுக்கும் இது பொருந்தும்தானே! சிம்புகிட்ட, 'இதுல ஓப்பனிங் சாங் கிடையாது; சண்டை கிடையாது; வழக்கமா நீங்க பண்ற எந்த விஷயமும் இருக்காது’னு சொன்னேன். 'அதெல்லாம் எதுவும் வேணாம். என் கேரக்டருக்கு சமமான ஹீரோயின் கேரக்டர் இருந்தாலும் பண்றேன். ஏன்னா, கதை என் வாழ்க்கையோட சம்பந்தப்பட்டி ருக்கு’னு சொன்னார்.

முன்னாள் காதலர்களை வெச்சு, அவங்க முன்னாள் காதலை நினைவுபடுத்துற மாதிரியான காட்சிகளைப் படம் பிடிக்கும்போது சிரமமா இல்லையா?

'ஏங்க... உங்க ரெண்டு பேருக்கும் நான் சொல்லியாத் தரணும். அதான் ஏராளமாப் பண்ணியிருக்கீங்களே. அதையே பண்ணுங்க’னு சொல்லுவேன். சிரிச்சுட்டே பெர்ஃபார்ம் பண்ணுவாங்க. அந்த அளவுக்கு அவங்க ரெண்டு பேரும் ஈஸியா இருக்காங்க. ஏன்னா, அவங்க தங்களோட கேரியர்ல, அடுத்தடுத்த சினிமாக்கள்ல தெளிவா இருக்காங்க. ஃப்ளாஷ்பேக் ஞாபகங்கள் அவங்களைத் திசை திருப்பாது!''
சிம்புவுக்கு சந்தானம்தானே எப்பவும் காமெடி பார்ட்னர். இதில் சூரி... சிம்பு செட் ஆகிட்டாரா?
''சூரியை ஃபிக்ஸ் பண்ணதுல சிம்புவுக்கு சம்மதமே இல்லை. 'ரெண்டு பேருக்கும் அண்டர்ஸ்டாண்டிங் எப்படி இருக்கும்னு தெரியலையே’னு ரொம்ப யோசிச்சார். 'சூப்பரா இருக்கும். நான் டயலாக் எல்லாம் சூரியை மனசுல வெச்சுதான் எழுதியிருக்கேன். நல்லா வரும்’னு சொல்லி அவரைச் சம்மதிக்க வெச்சேன். ஆனாலும், கொஞ்சம் சந்தேகமாத்தான் முதல் நாள் நடிக்க வந்தார். ஆனா, ஒரே நாள்லயே ரெண்டு பேரும் பயங்கர க்ளோஸ் ஆகிட்டாங்க!''
சிம்புவின் தம்பி குறளரசனை இசையமைப்பாளரா அறிமுகப்படுத்துறீங்க போல..?
''ஆமா. சிம்பு தம்பியாச்சே... பிரமாதப்படுத்துறார். ஒருநாள், சிம்பு ஐபாட்ல இருந்து 10 டியூன்களை பிளே பண்ணார். 'நல்லா இருக்கே... நீங்க கம்போஸ் பண்ண டியூன்களா?’னு கேட்டேன். This flick will be of in a totally different shade considering STR earlier ventures. Director Pandiraj mentioned in a recent interview that, the star will not be having Intro song and fight sequences in this film! Kuralarasan had delivered 5 songs for this film and each track will be in a different style, is one among highlight.
Regarding this much expected film's title, the team had 2 considerations earlier namely, ''Kadhavai Thira Kadhal Varattum'' and ''Lovena Love Apidi Oru Love''. If sources are to be believed, this flick might get titled as ''Idhu Namma Aalu'' now. Though nothing is announced officially, it is being said that STR will be saying ''Idhu Namma Aalu sir'' in the film very often whenever he sees Nayanthara.

Inga Enna Solludhu, which has VTV Ganesh, Simbu, Andrea and Meera Jasmine in the lead, is set for release. About the film, director Vincent Selva — who prefers to be called V Selva now — says, “This breezy entertainer is about the life of a 42-year-old bachelor, Ganesh, which is played by VTV Ganesh. The plot is a compilation of all the interesting incidents that happen in his life. Simbu plays a prominent role in this story. He agreed to do it after listening to the narration. And, Santhanam plays the role of a driver and the audience will get to see the complete actor in him in this key role.”
Ask him how the film fell in place, and the director has a tale to narrate. He says, “I met VTV Ganesh at a coffee shop and we were casually discussing this story plot. As our conversation progressed, we shaped a simple one-liner that was later fleshed out into a beautiful story. That’s how this project took shape,” reveals V Selva, who had earlier directed a couple of film starring Vijay in his career.
Elaborating on Simbu’s role, the director says, “The lead character (Ganesh) meets people from different shades in his life. Simbu is one such interesting character he comes across.” Inge Enna Solludhu, which is being released by Sri Thenandal Films, will hit screens on January 30.

Vaalu, directed by debutante Vijay Chander starring Simbu, Hansika, Santhanam and VTV Ganesh is all set to hit the screens on May 1st on Thala Ajith's birthday. It is a well known fact that Simbu is an ardent fan of Ajith and so has decided to release his much awaited film on the star's birthday.
The audio of the film which has music by Thaman is set to be launched on February 14 on Valentine's day. Vaalu is a love story and is about a youngster who lives in the railway quarters in Chennai. Produced by NIC Arts the film is expected to be a thorough entertainer.

A source close to the unit says, “The song will have the names of people whom Simbu has been linked up with. The lines go like he doesn’t want all these people (Nayanthara vendam, Andrea vendam) but only wants the heroine, who is his love interest in this film (interestingly, it is played by Hansika). The song also has names of leading directors like Mani Ratnam, Bala and Shankar.” Lyricist Madhan Karky says, “This particular song was a great responsibility on my shoulders as it was originally supposed to be written by Vaali sir. You Are My Darling is the hook line of the song, but the song actually starts with the words Inky Pinky Ponky.Thaman confirms the single track release and says, “It will be a treat for Simbu’s fans on his birthday,” and adds that the film’s album will be released on Valentine’s Day.
