Actor/producer/director and politician T Rajendhar's daughter Elakkiya will be tying the knot with S Abhilash on Feb 10th. The Marriage Reception Function will be on the same day evening in Leela Palace at MRC Nagar, Chennai.. 

It's an arranged marriage annd the groom to be is the Chairman of Calvary Television of Hyderabad. Elakkiya, is also the sister of our hero STR and Kuralarasan. The latter will make his bebut as a music composer in Str's upcoming film Ithu Namma Aalu directed by Pandiraj.
T Rajendhar invited the press and media first before inviting other.

The latest buzz is, Simbu will be teaming up with VZ Durai, with whom he earlier did Thotti Jaya, for his next film. However, a source close to the actor tells us, “Simbu is working on Gautham Menon and Padiraj’s films now. He will start Selvaraghavan’s project next. Though he has been approached by several directors, he be finalizing his other films only by March.”

Southern actress Hansika Motwani and Tamil actor Silambarasan aka Simbu have confirmed that they are in a relationship. However, Simbu says any decision related to their marriage will be taken by their respective families. Hanskika had been rubbishing rumours about her link-up with Simbu, but she has finally opened up on micro-blogging site Twitter.

"(I have) been hearing many rumours about my personal life, so just want to clear (the air).Yes, I'm seeing STR (Simbu) and hence I wouldn't like to talk about my personal life," Hansika posted on her Twitter page.

Confirming the news, Simbu posted on Twitter: "Yes, I'm with Hansika and right now she is doing really good and marriage will be decided by our family. (I) hope you will respect our privacy". Ever since the duo started shooting for Tamil films "Vaalu" and "Vettai Mannan", it was reported that they had developed fondness for each other. While Simbu is busy shooting for "Vaalu", Hansika is now busy wrapping up Tamil comedy "Biriyani" and Telugu untitled multi-starrer with Vishnu Manchu.

Simbu's dad T. Rajendhar's response to a query about his son getting married to a girl of his choice has triggered fresh controversy . The actor/director/politician has apparently commented in a magazine that he will not stand in the way if his son Simbu romanced anybody, and was also fine with it being Hansika.

DC caught up with Hansika, the hot and happening star of Tamil films who is here in Chennai for the shooting of Biriyani. A peeved Hansika says, “Oh gosh! Time and again, I having to repeat that Simbhu and I are not together. I even clarified this news on my twitter page a few weeks ago that I have been hearing a lot of news about my link up.

All I can do is laugh it off because I love reading stuff about myself about which I myself don't know. Let me clear the air: there is no truth to any of these rumours. When I start seeing someone, I will openly inform the media,“ she adds. “These rumours may have cropped up just because we are doing two films, Vaalu and Vettai Mannan. He is a friendly co-star but our relationship is strictly professional. There's nothing beyond that,“ she adds. She says that she was not aware of any com ments reportedly made by T. Rajendhar.

The actress, who has shed about 11 kilos and looks gorgeous, says, “I realised that I would have to look trim and svelte if I were to continue my good work in the film industry . I am a vegetarian and was a foodie earlier. But now, I hardly eat and cut down mainly on high calorie food.
Apart from workouts, I swim every day and I think that has helped me shed a few kilos. I hope to maintain this figure into the coming years.“

Hansika is one person who is averse to keeping late hours. “I am a boring person and you may even call me anti-social. But I am not a party person and I need my proper sleep of eight hours a day .
Sleep is my only indulgence. Even my unit members used to pull my leg when we were shooting in the late evening hours. They would say, `Hansika m'am, it's nearing 9, gear up for your sleep'!“ The 22-year-old, who has a huge fan base in K'town, says that her fans were upset about the sad end her character Sathya meets in Singam 2. “But they were appreciative of my meaty role and performance. The best part is that I haven't watched Singam 2 yet.

Whenever I am in Chennai, I am shooting from 9 am to 9 pm. There's hardly any time to go to the theatre. I will be coming to the city early next week.
This time around I have decided that by hook or by crook I should find time to go to the theatre and watch the film.

She is currently busy with Biriyani with Karthi, Maan Karate with Sivakarthikeyan, Vaalu and Vettai Mannan with Simbu and a Telugu film with Vishnu.The buzz is that a leading filmmaker has cast her to play opposite a big star, but Hansika refused to comment. “I don't like to talk about a film before signing it,“ she says in parting.

After the Huge success of Loose Penne, Evan Di Unna Pethan and Love Pannalama Venaama, Our hero is now ready with his next song "Kutty Payale" for the Movie "Inge enna Solluthu".
The film, which has VTV Ganesh and Meera Jasmine playing the lead, has Str playing a prominent role. Music composed by Poda Podi fame Dharan. Str penned the lyrics for the song and also he is going to be grooving to the song too. VTV Ganesh says, “It is a beautiful philosophical song for the youngsters. Simbu takes only a few minutes to complete a song. Like his earlier songs, this is also one of  the interesting lyrics and funny too. They are planning to shoot the song in London.

Vikadan's time pass book which was published last week, made simbu fans very anger.

Time pass is the tamil entertainment weekly book publishing by Vikadan. The book which was published last week, made simbu fans getting very anger. 

They designed the main page of the book is that the Simbu's face morphed with "Swamy Nithyanatha" and titled as "Simbananthaa".

Recently, actor Simbu done his spiritual holy trip to Haridwar and return to home town last month.
In order to make fun of this, they done like this and they written in the book that "Now a days, Str increases his concentrations more in spiritual commitment. So we made the ideal model according to this incident. But one thing, that 'god simbu' should be remains as only god, not any other else".

STR'S SPIRITUAL TRYSTS

Looks like actor Silambarasan is in his spirituality zone more often nowadays. The actor, who tasted success as a child star and managed to give the same impetus to his career even as he graduated to adult roles, is now pursuing his spiritual quests. 

Simbu is said to have managed to take some time off from his busy schedule while shooting for his latest project lnga Enna Solludhu, to go on a pilgrimage to Haridwar.

 When asked about his sudden interest. Simbu said, "Yes, I am into spirituality and meditation; they help me mature. I am rediscovering myself and this self realisation would go a long way in shaping my inner self. I have been to Rishikesh and Haridwar to seek blessings and I am sure the breath of fresh air blended with spirituality will help me attain the goal I deserve. As far as I am concerned, spirituality is not restricted to visiting temples and holy places. It is the search of knowledge and that is true in my case as well." 

Meanwhile. the actor has clarified that his much delayed projects Vaalu and Vettai Mannan will begin soon, following news on his micro-blogging page that said he had dropped both the projects.

Simbu announced on his micro-blogging page that he has dropped both his upcoming films Vaalu and Vettai Mannan, which have been in the making for a long time. Chennai Times spoke to the actor on the issue, and he said, “There is a general opinion that I’m always responsible for any delay in my projects.

But, this time, I didn’t want to take the blame because it was the producer, who was responsible for the delay. Both the films are being produced by the same person (S S Chakravarthy) and he was busy with other commitments. I didn’t get any update from his production house about resuming the shoots of these projects for a very long time. So, I had to announce that I’m putting these films on hold, though I was very much keen on completing them.” 

    Following Simbu’s tweet, we hear that the producer had contacted him and the two have sorted out the issue. “I will be shooting for Vaalu shortly. We have just nine days of shoot left. Shooting for Vettai Mannan, which is 50 per cent complete, will commence soon after that,” Simbu added.
