இளம் தலைமுறையின் காதல், பாசம், நேசம், வலி முதலானவற்றைப் படமாக்குவர்களில் ஒருவர் இயக்குநர் கௌதம் வாசுதேவ் மேனன். அஜித், அனுஷ்கா நடிப்பில் தயாராகிவரும் படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்புக்காக மலேசியா புறப்பட்டுக்கொண்டிருந்த ஒரு பொழுதில் நடந்த உற்சாக உரையாடலிலிருந்த.

ஒரே நேரத்தில் அஜித் படம், சிம்பு படம் என இரண்டிலும் கவனம் செலுத்திவருகிறீர்களே?

நீ தானே என் பொன் வசந்தம்’ படத்திற்கு முன் ‘விண்ணைத் தாண்டி வருவாயா’, ‘நடுநிசி நாய்கள்’ ஆகிய இரண்டு படங்களுக்கும் இதேபோலத்தான் படப்பிடிப்பு இருந்தது. இம்முறை அப்படித் திட்டமிட்டு இறங்கவில்லை. சிம்பு என்னோட நெருங்கிய நண்பர். சூர்யா படம் டிரா ஆன நேரத்தில் சிம்புகிட்ட கேட்டேன். அன்று இரவே ஷூட்டிங் போகலாம் என்றார். உடனே தொடங்கினோம். ஆரம்பித்து 15 நாட்களில் ரத்னம் சாருக்கு ஒரு படம் பண்ணலாமா என்று அஜித் சார்கிட்ட இருந்து அழைப்பு வந்தது. அந்த நேரம் சிம்புவும் பாண்டிராஜ் படத்தில் நடித்துக்கொண்டிருந்ததால் இரண்டு படங்களையும் நகர்த்திக் கொண்டுபோக வாய்ப்புக் கிடைத்தது.

30 நாட்கள் படப்பிடிப்பு முடிந்துவிட்ட நிலையில் தலைப்பு வைப்பதில் இன்னும் எதற்கு சஸ்பென்ஸ்?

சிம்பு படத்திற்கு ‘சட்டென்று மாறுது வானிலை’ என்ற தலைப்பைத் திட்டமிட்டிருந்தோம். பிறகுதான் அது வேறொரு படத்திற்கு வைக்கப்பட்டுச் சென்சார் வரைக்கும் வந்துவிட்டது என்பதே தெரிந்தது. அது ஈர்த்த மாதிரி ஒரு தலைப்பு அமையட்டும் என்று காத்திருக்கிறோம். அஜித் சாரோட படத்துக்கு நாங்கள் சில தலைப்புகள் சொல்லியிருக்கோம். தயாரிப்பு தரப்பில் இருந்தும் சில தலைப்புகளை ஆலோசித்து வருகிறார்கள். விரைவில் அறிவிப்பு வரும்.

உங்க வாழ்க்கையில் நடந்த சம்பவங்களின் பாதிப்பு உங்கள் படங்களில் வெளிப்படுமே?

சிம்பு படத்தில் நிறைய இடங்களில் என்னோட இளமை பருவத்தோட பாதிப்பு உண்டு. அஜித் சார் படத்தில் அதுக்கான வாய்ப்பு இல்லை. அஜித் சார் படம் ஒரு கேரக்டர் பத்தின ஸ்டடி. இந்த கேரக்டரோட அடுத்தடுத்த கட்டத்தைப் படமாக்க வேண்டும் என்றே இருக்கிறேன். அந்தக் கதாபாத்திரத்தோட வேலை அடுத்தடுத்த கட்டங்களையும் தொடும். ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட வயது தொடங்கி, குறிப்பிட்ட ஸ்டேஜ்வரை போகும். அடுத்தடுத்த பார்ட் உருவாக்கும் நோக்கத்தில் எழுதியிருக்கிறேன். அடுத்தடுத்த பாகங்களிலும் அஜித் சாரை வைத்து இயக்குவேன்.

சிம்பு இயக்குநர்களின் அலைவரிசைக்குள் எளிதில் சிக்குவதில்லை என்கிறார்களே?

எனக்கு அப்படித் தோணியதே இல்லை. காலை 7 மணிக்குச் சுறுசுறுப்பாகப் படப்பிடிப்பில் கலந்துகொள்ள வந்துவிடுவார். கொஞ்சம் தாமதமாக வந்தாலும்கூட ஒண்ணு அல்லது ரெண்டு டேக்குகளில் ஓகே செய்துவிடுவார். அவர் தமிழ் சினிமாவின் ரன்பீர் கபூர். நல்ல நடிகர்.

Str attends the "Blue Cross Society Of India Dog Show" in chennai..

Actor/producer/director and politician T Rajendhar's daughter Elakkiya will be tying the knot with S Abhilash on Feb 10th. The Marriage Reception Function will be on the same day evening in Leela Palace at MRC Nagar, Chennai..

It's an arranged marriage annd the groom to be is the Chairman of Calvary Television of Hyderabad. Elakkiya, is also the sister of our hero STR and Kuralarasan. The latter will make his bebut as a music composer in Str's upcoming film Ithu Namma Aalu directed by Pandiraj.
T Rajendhar invited the press and media first before inviting other.

Director Selvaraghavan, after the Irandaam Ulagam debacle at the box office, is working hard towards making a hit film. He has signed up Simbu to play the lead role in his next venture and the film is currently in the pre-production stages.

This untitled film will go on floors during the month of March and Simbu, in the mean time, will be wrapping up his current assignments and be done with his sister Ilakkiya’s wedding as well. Selva, apart from penning the script for his film, is also scouting for a suitable female lead for Simbu.

It is now reported that the duo of Yuvan and Selva has buried their hatched and they both have decided to work together again for an upcoming film which would have Str playing the lead role. Selva had earlier hinted that he had be making a film with Str after he completes his Irandaam Ulagam commitment.

Selva busy in penning script, Curently Str doing Gautham Menon,Pandiraj films and Vaalu in final stage. This movie work will be starting in the month of feb.

Yuvan too has confirmed that he has been asked by Selvaa to work as the music director in his film with Str.

Gautham Menon has roped in AR Rahman for the film he is doing now with Simbu. And, the Mozart of Madras has already delivered a song for the film, which the team has started shooting for.

Confirming the news, Gautham says, "Yes,Rahman is onboard the film. He heard the narration in Chennai and agreed to compose the tunes for the film. He then took off to LA as he had other commitments. After three weeks, I called him up in the middle of a busy schedule, and asked him if he could send me a song immediately as I had started shooting for the film. He got to work right away, and sent a tune from there. We sat for over three hours on Skype, and worked on it with the lyrics, which has been penned by Madhan Karky. He then recorded the number in studios in Chennai and LA, and sent me the mix. We are shooting the song in this schedule."

We hear this song sets the tone for the romance between the flims lead actors, with the hero setting his eyes on the heroine for the very first time.

Str's New Project With Director Pandiraj has successfully started today and the movie is releasing under the own home banner of str "Simbu Cine Arts". Str's Brother Kuralarasan is introducing as a debutant music director in this film and Balasubramaniyam work as a cinematographer. Comedy Actor Soori is join with our hero for the first time in this movie and Santhanam also acting with them.

STR start work on Pandiraj directed untitled film on Oct 21. The hunt for heroine is on and he excited about the script. He is producing the film under his home banner with brother Kural scoring music. Comedian Soori is teaming with STR for the first time and he conformed in social network.

Str's upcoming movie Vaalu directed by debutant director Vijay Chandar and the movie is produced by Nic Arts S.S.Chakravarthy. The sound tracks are composed by S.Thaman and edited by T.Suresh.

The Single Song from this movie "Lovendravan Nee Yaaruda" Which is written and sung by STR is already released and gets good response from his fans. The shooting of this movie fully completed and songs are remaining to shoot. The Single song "Lovendravan Nee Yaaruda" was taken in chennai and the song choreographed by Dancer Sathish. Str's costumes were designed by Vasuki Baskar and the art direction work is done by Ilayaraja.
