After being put on hold for a substantial amount of time, Vettai Mannan, starring Simbu, Jai and Hansika and directed by Nelson is set to be resumed. Now we hear that the producers, NIC Arts are looking at Japan to can a majority of the second half after the team had managed to complete the entire first half sometime back.
"Myself and director Nelson are leaving for Japan tonight for a location recce and we will return in a week's time after finalizing the spot. We will be putting up a huge set there and I will be briefing the technicians in Japan about the design and other aspects, over the course of the coming week. In about a month's time, the set work should be complete after which the team would be travelling to Japan to shoot. Nelson is looking at completing the schedule in a month's time as the majority of the second half's scenes will be shot in Japan"
