Looks like Hansika has become the toast of Kollywood.
After teaming up with Dhanush in Maapillai, it’s Simbu’s turn to rope in the pretty girl, who has shed a few kilos in the interim.
The buzz is that Simbu wants her on board for his next, Vettai Mannan, produced by NIC Arts’ Chakravarthy and directed by STR’s friend Nelson.
The movie also has Jai in the lead with Deeksha Seth likely to play one of the heroines. It’s a gangster subject, with Hansika paired opposite STR.
Sources inform that the movie has been shot in the US and some European countries. A little birdie tells us that Hansika will be seen as a gangster in the movie. When DC contacted Hansika she confirmed signing the STR movie.
“Yes, I have signed the film and the script is fascinating.” When asked if she was playing a lady don in the film, the Velayudham star was all smiles and said, “I am not supposed to talk about the script.''
